Carol’s Daughter Goddess Strength Review

I received these products complimentary to test and review from Influenster.

I was super excited to receive these this VoxBox to review Carol’s Daughter’s Goddess Strength Ultra Shield Pre-poo and the Goddess Strength Repairing Cocoon Mask. The ingredients includes castor oil, ginger and black cumin seed. I love the fact that it contains castor oil because it is the key ingredient that thickens my hair.

Goddess Crown of Glory

From the moment I slathered the pre-poo onto my hair, I knew it was a win win for me. I applied the pre-poo to wet hair. It was super creamy and moisturizing. It melted like butter into my hair. It felt so good that I didn’t want to wash it out. There was a smooth lather and my hair felt soft like cotton. Most of all, it detangled my hair with ease. I’ve always dreamed of wash days like this one! My 4c hair loves this stuff!

The Royal Treatment

The Carol’s Daughter Repairing Cocoon Mask is a deep, intensive treatment for dry, weak hair. The texture was quite interesting. It was a mixture of thick, creamy conditioner yet a gooey, non-sticky feeling of a hair gel. The application process was a breeze because it glided right into my hair. It absorbed quickly and did not sit on top of my hair.

I loved the fact that I only had to leave it on my hair for five minutes. It’s perfect for wash days when your on-the-go or just don’t feel like fussing with your hair. I got the same benefits with this treatment as I would a deep penetrating conditioner. My hair was well-managed, moisturized and tangle-free with no signs of spider knots.

Both products are paraben free, including no petroleum, no mineral oil, no artificial colors and no animal derived ingredients. These products are definitely a keeper on my bathroom shelf! 👍🏽👍🏽
